Most of you have already heard from your account representative or our customer support team regarding the exciting changes at WISP and what they mean for our company. We are extremely proud to officially unveil the new branding and website our team has been working on for several months. This new branding comes with much thought and consideration, and we are confident that these forward-thinking changes are in our company’s best interests.
As many of you may have already observed, WISP is sporting a brand new logo and an entirely new look. This marks a significant milestone in our journey, providing an opportunity to reflect on everything that the original WISP brand stood for and everything that we aspire to become as we move forward into an exciting future.
You’ll see it’s not just our logo that is changing. We’re changing our website, our social media, and our messaging; all to better reflect the new face of WISP, and the direction we’re looking to take this company in the future. Despite these changes, our mission remains the same. To deliver a quality high speed internet service to rural residents in Ontario.
Our Journey so far
Since our founding in 2009, WISP has experienced tremendous growth. We’ve become a trusted partner in the rural internet market, and a leader in providing high speed internet to rural residents throughout south-eastern Ontario.
Our journey started with a vision to create the kind of company that empowers rural families to do the kinds of things they’ve always wanted to do with their home internet, but never been able to before, all without contracts, and at reasonable rates.
Today, more than 12 years later, we are bigger and better — our WISP family consists of highly trained and talented individuals and a growing client base that we are certainly proud to serve.
The challenges of the past several years have only made us stronger and forced us to focus on those areas we truly shine.
We are now taking the opportunity to evolve our brand in order to better communicate the breadth of expertise that WISP truly represents and realign with our refined value proposition and vision.
We’re excited and proud to announce our new branding and logo. It marks the next phase in our journey and a new opportunity to help meet our clients’ needs.
The New Logo and Brand – The Thinking Process Behind
The WISP Internet Services Inc. Masterbrand or Corporate Logo comprises of two elements – the logo symbol and the logo type.
The Logo Symbol is a powerful image evoking the culture of design services – the connection between the strength of communication and the different points that influence. As such, it has a particular relationship with the WISP Internet Services Inc name.
The Logo Type has been carefully chosen for its modern yet refined, highly legible style, which has been further enhanced by the use of lowercase letters. The typeface is Quentin Pro and has also been chosen to compliment and balance perfectly with the logo symbol.
Finally, the corporate logo is presented through the use of colour as well as shape and form. The two corporate colours are red and grey. It is a fresh and appealing blend of colours chosen for their strong combination of modern, classic & timeless.

We’re incredibly proud of the work that we do at WISP and thankful for the employees, the partnerships, and clients that have accompanied us in our growth. We owe this rebrand to all of you.
